Shopping List and Meal Plans

When I published my natural living magazines, I was often asked by my readers what they should buy at the health food store, and how should they prepare the food at home. Friends and readers didn't want to venture into the natural food store because they were intimidated by all that "natural stuff," and didn't really understand what to buy or how to prepare it. I often found myself giving advice, and that's one of the main reasons why I wrote "The Beginner's Guide to Natural Living."

Your goal is to eat whole, organic food as often as possible. This means that you ought to be preparing a majority of your organic meals from scratch (probably the utmost important thing you can do for better health). Try to avoid boxed, canned or frozen foods.

Of course, this very well may mean that you need to learn some new skills! And, that's where my personal shopping list and meal plans come in: I make it easy for you to shop at the natural food store, and prepare tasty, and nutritious, meals at home.

But before you can even think "but I don't have enough time," let me assure you that you don't need to spend much time in the kitchen if you follow my meal plans. I personally seem to always be in a hurry, and so I've developed some pretty fancy techniques that makes nutritious meal making go pretty fast.

One of the problems with most cookbooks is that 1) they center around one dish at a time, instead of an entire pantry worth of food, and 2) they never say exactly which products to buy (e.g. brand names). Well, I suggest an entire pantry's worth of food first (my shopping list is complete with pictures and brand names), and then I give you general meal overviews so you can quickly and easily make delicious and nutritious meals.
